Grenoble INP – UGA Welcome Fest : The international students' welcome event

Have you just arrived in Grenoble to study at Grenoble INP - UGA?

On Thursday, September 24^th, 2026, the Directorate of International Relations invites you to the Welcome Fest, the event designed to help you start your academic year off on the right foot.

Whether you're here for a semester exchange or for your entire course of study, you probably have plenty of questions: what professional opportunities are available to you, how to discover the Grenoble professional environment, meet former students who went through the same steps as you, enjoy tourist activities, or manage your budget well... The Welcome Fest is here to give you answers, in a friendly and festive atmosphere.

Come meet all the services that support you

From 2:30pm to 6pm, a partner village awaits you to answer all your practical questions and help you settle in with peace of mind:

• the University Health Service (SSU);
• the International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO), for your housing and residence permit questions;
• the Career Center;
• the Integre association;
• the Grenoble INP - UGA Alumni network;
• the Grenoble Tourist Office and its "Welcome to Students" service;
• the Young Ambassadors;
• the City of Grenoble's Maison de l'International;
• Unite!;
• the International Student Office (BIE);
• representatives from the international relations offices of your school and the Institute's other schools.

You will be welcomed by Gülgün Alpan, Vice-President for International Affairs at Grenoble INP - UGA, who will open the day with a welcome speech.

Activities, prizes to win, and a guided tour of Grenoble

Throughout the day, activities and games will be offered for you to try to win prizes. A drink, cotton candy, and popcorn will be provided on site.

Want to discover the city? Sign up for the guided tour of Grenoble, organized with the Tourist Office. Please note that spots are limited: be sure to sign up quickly if you'd like to take part.

And you're invited to the evening party!

Starting at 7pm, the student association Le Grand Cercle takes over to offer you a festive evening and a chance to meet other international students. The evening's program will be revealed soon.
