Learn French at Grenoble INP - UGA

Grenoble INP provides French language courses for foreign students throughout the year; these courses are dispensed by CUEF Grenoble.

Smile, you're in France! Learn enough French to make yourself understood, understand what your professors are saying, and take exams.

If you are enrolling for a course taught in French, we strongly recommend that you aim to complete at least a B1 level CECR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) in French (see the Language Skills Self-Assessment Grid).

How to register?

For registration, contact the international office of your school.

Terms and conditions:

  • At the end of July, you will receive an email from the CUEF inviting you to take an online placement test (only for first-time registrations).
Note: This test is not an exam; it is used to assess your language level and place you in the appropriate group.
If you are a complete beginner, please do not take the test; instead, reply directly to the CUEF’s email to let them know.
Find tutorial for this test here (French, English, Chinese)
