During the last Unite! Dialogue, held at Aalto University in October 2025, the alliance’s Assembly elected Vivien Quéma as its new President, succeeding Tanja Brühl. As President of Grenoble INP - UGA and Professor of computer science, Vivien Quéma brings to this role a deep understanding of academic leadership, research excellence, and European cooperation.
Under his presidency, Unite! aims to build on the solid foundations laid by Tanja Brühl, who has guided the alliance from its creation into a forward-looking and impactful network committed to innovation in education, research, and sustainability.
Together with the two newly elected Vice-Presidents, Anders Söderholm (KTH) and Arkadiusz Wojs (Wroclaw University), Vivien Quéma will work to futher strengthen Unite!’s governance and strategic priorities, ensuring its continued development as a long-term, influential European University Alliance shaping the future of higher education in Europe.
