At Unite!, we believe that languages are more than just academic credits, they are windows into new cultures and the foundation of lasting European friendships. This session, the response from our partner universities was truly inspiring, showing a vibrant desire for connection across our European campus.
A vibrant community: the numbers behind the success
The matching process, finalised on
27 March 2026, reveals a diverse and enthusiastic participation:
- 144 registrations from students passionate about linguistic exchange.
- 138 active participants representing nearly all our partner institutions.
- 50 unique tandems now exploring the linguistic richness of our network.
This period saw particularly strong engagement from the Technical University of Darmstadt (TUDa) and Grenoble INP - UGA, which together account for a significant portion of our tandem community.
More Than Just a Chat: Earn Your Open Badge!
Participation in the Language Tandems is not only a great social experience but also a recognised achievement. Students who actively engage in their tandem until the end of the session in early June will be eligible for a Unite! Open Badge. This digital credential recognises your commitment to multilingualism and intercultural communication, a valuable asset for any future CV.
