Seven Unite! students to represent the alliance at ESA 2026

Seven Unite! students, including delegates from Grenoble INP UGA, will represent the Unite! alliance at the European Student Assembly 2026 in Strasbourg.

European Student Assembly 2026 (ESA26)

From 20 to 22 April 2026, Strasbourg will host the 5th edition of the European Student Assembly, the flagship initiative of the EUC Voices Erasmus+ project. This annual event brings together around 250 students from 65 European University Alliances to participate in structured debates and draft policy recommendations that aim to shape the future of Europe.

Among the selected delegates are seven outstanding students from the Unite! alliance, including Valentine Raynal-Coppin from Grenoble INP - UGA. Their selection highlights both academic excellence and strong commitment to civic engagement. These student representatives will not only take part in the discussions but also coordinate sessions, demonstrating leadership and the ability to foster collaborative, cross-cultural dialogue.

In addition to the student delegation, two Student Liaison Officers from Unite!, Honorata Poturaj (Wroclaw Tech) and Elisa Hausherr (Grenoble INP - UGA), will accompany the team. They will mentor participants, support interactions with European policymakers, and strengthen connections across peer alliances. An Alumni Advisor, Maciej Kisielewicz (Wrocław University of Science and Technology), will also contribute based on prior ESA experience.

ESA 2026 will feature eight discussion panels covering key European challenges. These include democracy and citizenship, digital empowerment, education and interdisciplinarity, climate change and the circular economy, cultural heritage, science and innovation, youth mobility, and generational solidarity. Each panel will produce concrete policy proposals reflecting diverse perspectives and innovative solutions.

The Assembly provides a unique platform for young leaders to influence European policy dialogue, deepen their understanding of transnational governance, and contribute to a shared vision for a more inclusive and sustainable Europe. Delegates will engage with peers from across the continent, strengthening their academic, professional, and intercultural skills while representing the values and aspirations of the Unite! Alliance and the Grenoble INP - UGA community.
