The Grenoble Hydraulic Machinery Research and Testing Centre (CREMHyG) is a laboratory of the Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble INP).
The purpose of CREMHyG is to contribute scientifically and technically to the development of turbomachines. CREMHyG is more specifically involved in the study of the suction stages of spatial pumps, dam pump turbines and the harmful effects of cavitation on their performance. It specialises in hydroelectric energy (turbine, pump-turbines) and the liquid propulsion of accelerators (turbopumps). Fluid flows and the performance of turbomachinery are characterised within the context of the Research and Technology programme in partnership with the major manufacturers (Snecma Moteurs and ALSTOM).
