Grenoble INP summer schools ended after 5 weeks of scientific courses, humanities and cultural activities.
From June 11 to July 13, we welcomed about 20 students from Hong Kong, the United States, Egypt, Mexico, Russia, Australia and Saudi Arabia.
The two programs, dedicated either to Nanotechnologies or Smart Energies, offered students not only theoretical courses, but also practicals, allowing them to expand their knowledge. On Friday, July 13 was held the closing ceremony, and we had the pleasure of graduating 100% of the participating students!
They came to deepen their knowledge, discover French culture, travel, meet students from around the world, and ended their stay at Grenoble INP very satisfied. Scientific courses and social activities (in particular the visit of Annecy, Lyon and the Escape game) were very much appreciated by the majority of the participants.
The students went back home with lots of great memories. Here are some of their testimonies:
“The summer school was a great opportunity for me to meet new people and experience a new culture, all while learning content relevant to my degree” (student from the Smart Energy program)
“The opportunity to meet a vast array of different people, all from various backgrounds, while immersing myself in another culture was the highlight of my summer schoolexperience” (student from the Nanotechnology program)
We are proud to announce very positive results for these 2018 summer schools. Now it is time for well-deserved rest for the students as well as for the organisation’s staff, before starting again in September with the preparation of the next edition!
