Incoming scholarships

You wish to come study at Grenoble INP Institute of engineering Univ. Grenoble Alpes? You may benefit from a scholarships to help you financially during you stay, depending on your academic results.

grants application process

WARNING : this procedure only applies to Eiffel, IDEX or Grenoble INP Foundation scholarship programmes, others have their own procedure (see below).
 
  • When completing your application file, check the box regarding grants, labelled "I wish to apply for a scholarship"You are encouraged to apply early so that your application can be considered for a maximum number of scholarship programmes.

  • People in charge of the master(s) you applied for will study your application and position it on corresponding scholarship(s) if eligible

Please note

If your application is selected fro a scholarship programme, the admission office will apply on your behalf to the Eiffel, IDEX or Grenoble INP Foundation scholarship programme. We therefore kindly ask you to refrain from sending a separate application to these programmes.

  • You will be notified of the outcome of the grant application

Do not hesitate to contact the master's administration for more information beforehand (on grants criteria...).

Grenoble INP Foundation grants

Grenoble INP Foundation supports a scholarship program for to attract high-level international master students at Grenoble INP. The grant amounts to 5000 euros per semester (maximum duration 1 or 2 semestres).

IDEX

The « Initiative d’excellence » (IDEX in short) Université Grenoble Alpes is welcoming applications for the Master Scholarship program. Applications to this program are open to foreign students (i.e. students currently enrolled in a University outside France) who apply to one of the Masters offered by the following higher education and research institutions: Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Grenoble (ENSAG), Grenoble INP, Sciences Po Grenoble, Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA).

Eiffel Scholarships

Eiffel excellence scolarship program financially supports foreign students education in Master's and Engineering courses or PhD.

Other scholarships for foreign students:

  • Persyval-Lab scholarships : This selective pre-doctoral grant program is aimed at excellent students who wish to follow a M2 (second year of a Master's Degree) at Université de Grenoble (UG) and who express a strong interest to conduct a thesis in a Persyval laboratory.

  • FITEC programs from the CDEFI : French Engineering Schools Conference's programs can finance students' and teachers' mobility coming from, or going to Brazil (BRAFITEC), Argentina (ARFITEC), Mexico (MEXITEC), or Chile (CHILFITEC).

  • UFA : The Franco-German university proposes mobility scholarships for double degree students. At Grenoble INP, the eligible double degree is a part of the agreement between Phelma school and Karlsruhe (Electrotechnic).

  • French government scholarships : French governement offers each year a substancial number of study scholarships. Information is available on French ambassies' and consulates'  websites in your home country.

  • Foreign Government Scholarships Program : some governements offer mobility scholarships to students. Check with your home country's Education Ministry.

  • CampusBourses website will quickly give you information about available grants, and allows a profile based search (from Bachelor to Postdoctoral).
