Research Data Management and Open Science Training

Aalto University Research Data Management Network organises a webinar series on research data management and open science in spring 2022. The webinars, aimed at university staff and students, are open to everyone. Participation is free. No previous knowledge is needed.
Are you confident with processing personal data safely?
Do you know how to write an effective data management plan?
Where and how should you store and share your data?

Understanding proper research data management is becoming more and more important to researchers and students across disciplines. Data management plans are increasingly required by funders, and researchers urgently need data management and open science skills to enhance the impact of their research.

Aalto University Research Data Management Network organises a biannual webinar series on research data management and open science. Some webinars from the previous series will be held again, but we also have some exciting new topics, like:

  • Responsible conduct of research, questionable research practices... and possible cures
  • A two-day hands-on data anonymisation webinar by Staff Scientist Dr. Enrico Glerean.

In addition, specific aspects of open science and research data management will be discussed, for instance, research data in the visual arts, or working with restricted datasets.
We recommend everyone to attend our popular Introduction to Research Data Management webinar, which will take place on March 2nd. All webinars will be held in English using the Zoom platform.

See you in the spring sessions!
