From November 6th to November 9th, 2019, for the third year in a row, Grenoble INP - Esisar will host the European final of the largest academic cyber security competition in the world: the Cyber Security Awareness Week (CSAW); in partnership with New York University, NYU Abu Dhabi and the Indian Institute of Technology.
The competitions are open to students from all over Europe and the finalists will receive support for their travel and accommodation expenses. The best students will be in contact with leading professionals who will act as jusges, they will attend expert interventions on new issues and meet with recruiters eager to quickly strengthen their cybersecurity teams.
In 2018, nearly 400 elite students, qualified among more than 12,000 participants representing 98 countries in the preliminary rounds, gathered for the finals from 8 to 10 November. The European final in Valence brought together nearly 110 finalist students representing more than 23 European universities and competing in 4 competitions in front of more than 20 judges, recognized industrial and academic experts in cybersecurity.
Teams of 1 to 3 high school students enrolled in a school and mentored by a coach are invited to participate in online competition after which the top ten teams will be selected to participate in the final to be held in Grenoble INP Esisar. Young people will face a "challenge" in the field of cybersecurity.

Students must solve computer security problems. Then the 10 best teams (of 4) will come in Valence for the final.
