3 innovation clusters

GreEn-ER project is the first PPP (Public-Private Partnership) signed in France as part of the Campus Operation for renewing universities.

Minatec the leading micro - and nanotechnologies innovation cluster in Europe, is the brainchild of the Grenoble INP group and CEA Grenoble.

PILSI The Integrative research centre of the International innovation cluster for Software and intelligent systems (PILSI) seeks to bring together manufacturers involved in international competition as well as scientists and high level technologies under one roof in order to expedite marketing of innovative products and services.

3 Carnot institutes

Carnot Institute “Énergies du futur” A total of 16 laboratories are connected to this Institute which has become a hotspot for new energy technologies drawing on its dynamism and the strength of its network. Its aim is to develop innovative solutions in the field of new energy technologies.

Carnot Institute LSI (Software and intelligent systems)
​​​​​​​The aim of LSI is to improve the competitiveness of all actors involved in order to develop new software and intelligent systems solutions in all fields where these technologies are used.

Carnot Institute PolyNat The short term goal of the Carnot Institute PolyNat is to develop hybrid materials from the self-assembly of elementary bricks making up the vegetal material – glycopolymers, nanocristals, cellulose fibres – whether modified or not with components from fossil resources.

  • CMTC : The Consortium des Moyens Technologiques Communs (CMTC) is the Grenoble INP Material characterisation platform.
  • CIME Nanotech : Interuniversity centre of microelectronics and nanotechnologies
  • CREMHyG : Grenoble Hydraulic Machinery Research and Testing Centre (CREMHyG)
  • PREDIS : University innovation training centre for distributed energy
  • TekLiCell : TekLiCell, technological platform, smart paper, cutting-edge printing, biomaterials, bioenergy, bioprocesses
