Every year Grenoble INP hosts students from all four corners of the globe, for terms ranging from one semester to a full year. To help these students get the most out of their Grenoble experience, the school has created an International Student Board to give them advice and support throughout their stay.
Members of the "Bureau International Etudiant (BIE)" greet foreign students as soon as they arrive in Grenoble, and then help them with all the administrative tasks needed to settle into the city. The International Student Board also organises numerous events throughout the year, such as outings to adventure courses, tours of chocolate-making shops, weekends in the Ardèche, ski weekends, New Year's Eve parties, sponsorship dinners, and plenty of other fun activities.
For example, the BIE helps arrange the following three action-packed weeks for foreign students:
integration week with intensive French courses in August for students wishing to improve their French;
Events throughout the year from a skiing weekend, a visit of Lyon, to parties and a white-water rafting day
