Patrice PETITCLAIR is born in 1968. Alumnus of Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan (1989), he received his highest competitive examination for teaching posts in the lycées and universities in Electricity Design in 1992, then a Signal, Image and Words Master's Degree at Grenoble IT. He got his Ph.D on modeling and command of power electronic structure applied to electric networks in 1997 from Grenoble IT in the Laboratory of Electrotechnology of Grenoble.
Since 1997, he is teacher at Grenoble IT - ENSERG Engineering School, where he is responsible of applied works for the first years students from Grenoble IT - Telecom Engineering School. He is teaching electronics and Signal Treatment.
In 2004 and 2005, he is coordinator of the CPX4 project of students from Grenoble IT - ENSERG and Grenoble IT - ENSIEG Engineering Schools, to participate in the first students' international microdrones competition.
Since May 2000, Jean VAYLET is Corporate Vice President of ATMEL , in charge of Imaging Business Unit and European R&D finances, General Manager of ATMEL Grenoble.
ATMEL Grenoble is a company in charge of development, design and production of electronics components (CCD, FingerChip, Imaging CMOS, Professional Imaging and military products, ID's...).
Jean VAYLET has sustained various start-ups, worked on business development and strategy.
He became Chairman THOMSON TCS in 1994. From 1994 to 2000, Jean VAYLET has oriented the company on civil markets especially industrial and medical markets, has restructured and developed export. In 1992, Jean VAYLET was named Vice President in THOMSON TCS Saint-Egrève in charge of Finances, Purchase, Human Resources, Safety and Security Computing and Legal.
From 1988 to 1992, Jean VAYLET was General Secretary, ahead of THOMSON Composants militaires and spatiaux Division. In 1984, Jean VAYLET joined the THOMSON Semiconductor Military Division where he occupied Administrative, Financial and Personnel responsibilities as Director.
Starting in 1972 as Financial and Administrative Director of EFCIS, he was part of the team who create the company.
Jean VAYLET his also involved in various organizations such as APM (management association) and MEDEF Isère (employers association).
