Loss of internship and job: exceptional aid

Since May 12, students can request assistance for € 200, under certain conditions and in addition to assistance already in place.

Who is concerned ?

 
  • Students in initial training (excluding apprentices) scholarship holders and non-scholarship holders, who suffer a reduction in their resources following the loss of their job as part of a salaried activity, or the non-completion of all or part of their free internship because of Covid-19.
  • Overseas students, dung beetle or non-scholarship holders, continuing their studies in mainland France and who reside there on May 1, 2020.
 

What are the conditions for granting aid?


Job loss

Job with the following characteristics:

  • exercise of the activity for at least 2 months and 8 hours per week since January 1, 2020 (several contracts from different employers possible)
  • the execution of the last contract must have been interrupted before its initial expiry and at the latest on June 1, 2020.


Failure to complete all or part of the free internship
Internship meeting the following characteristics:

  • internship which would have been compulsory in the absence of containment
  • free internship greater than 2 months
  • the internship agreement had to provide for a start of activity no later than June 1, 2020

If the internship started to be carried out, it was interrupted before its initial deadline, between March 17 and June 1, 2020.

Overseas students
For overseas students:

  • Having parents, legal guardian or delegate of parental authority overseas
  • Continue your studies in mainland France
  • Be present in mainland France on May 1, 2020
