Grenoble INP - UGA in project mode

To grow and reaffirm its longstanding position in the international field of higher education and research, Grenoble INP - UGA relies on the dynamic alliances and community created by the Grenoble Alpes Université site. The institution has grown its involvement in ambitious European projects as well as launched a new A2I project to modernize its teaching methods.

Université Grenoble Alpes, Grenoble INP, Sciences Po Grenoble and Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Grenoble (ENSAG - School of Architecture), joined forces on January 1st, 2020 as a unique university with a strong international reach. This ambitious vision is guided by a shared set of values: open, diverse, socially and environmentally responsible.

Université Grenoble Alpes: innovation university initiative

The Université Grenoble Alpes community of universities and institutions (ComUE) has launched the “innovation university initiative” with the IDEX label of excellence, a label that is shared by only a dozen or so university sites in France. This label reinforces the integration of the Grenoble Alpes site as part of a global dynamic for higher education, research and innovation. The initiative also opens the door for new collaborations between various actors within the site by offering them concrete support and resources for their projects and initiatives.

Unite! A new European university for Grenoble Alpes

Seven European institutions, including Grenoble INP Graduate schools of Engineering and Management, Université Grenoble Alpes, received the “European University” label for the Unite! project (University Network for Innovation, Technology and Engineering). This project was selected by the European Commission to receive 5 million euros in funding over the course of 2020-2022. The project aims to create a large European campus that will stretch from Finland to Portugal.

A2i - Smart workshops for industry

The A2i projects aims to renew our ability to develop, teach and spread engineering knowledge for 4.0 industry production systems via our Grenoble-Viallet university site. This initiative will enable the Université Grenoble Alpes community to have a key reference point to share and evolve through the involvement of staff, students, entrepreneurs and industrial players who wish to co-construct competitive and sustainable industries.
