An Eiffel excellence scholarship for Grenoble INP Esisar School

For the third year, a student from Bach Khoa university (formerly Hô Chi Minh City Institute of Technology) is granted an Eiffel scholarship to come study at Grenoble INP, in Esisar School.

Eiffel scholarships program, created by French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, aims to attract excellent international students in French higher education institutions, at masters and PhD levels.

Grenoble INP has been granted 4 scholarships this year, one being for Esisar School, which will welcome a Vietnamese student next September. Minh-Hoa BUI will be the 5th student of Bach Khoa university to join Esisar school with an Eiffel scholarship. Academic results of these 5 students confirm the excellence of their home school education and the quality of the partnership created within the PFIEV frame (Education Program for Excellence Engineers in Vietnam).

This program, of which Grenoble INP is a founding member, involves 4 higher education institutions in Vietnam: 3 Universities of Technology (Hanoï, Dà Nang, et Hô Chi Minh-Ville) and Hanoï National University of Civil Engineering. A French consortium of 9 prestigious institutions* supervises the program’s scientific and educational expertise. Since its creation in 1991, PFIEV educated over 200 engineers each year. The diploma, issued by Vietnamese authorities and co-signed by French institutions, is officially recognized since 2004 by the French CTI (Commission of Engineering Titles), allowing it to be recognized by French companies. It is the first diploma of Vietnamese higher education to obtain international recognition.

Currently studying mechatronics at Bach Khoa university, Minh-Hoa Bui is a brilliant student presenting an excellent academic profile and a well-built professional project. Bui received multiple university rewards such as “Consolation prize of national competition “ViOlympic”, title of “5-qualities student” (academic achievement, competences, good behaviour, social work ethic and excellent social integration aptitude) and “consolation" prize in national mechanics Olympics. He also received an Odon Vallet scholarship.

Aged 22, Bui shows a great open-mindedness by his commitment to associations aiming to improve local populations’ life and his implication with poor or disabled people. Being the person in charge of the organization of the French culture festival at Bach Khoa university, he expressed his deep motivation to study in France in order to specialize in on-board systems.

Grenoble INP and Esisar school are very proud to welcome him for two academic years.
