The 3rd Unite! Dialogue online: A 100% success

From March 8 to 10, Grenoble INP – UGA organized the 3rd Unite! Dialogue, bringing together online representatives, personnel and students from the 7 university partners of the Unite! European University*. This Dialogue was the 3rd after those in Aalto, Finland in February 2020 and in Lisbon, Portugal, in September 2020.

An unifying event


Every 6 months, personnel and students from the seven Unite! partners meet for a Dialogue and cooperate around the diverse themes and activities of the Unite! European University.

More than 260 participants from the 7 partner universities joined together for the pilot meetings concerning Unite! projects and for the parallel working sessions.

For the first time : a public event


This is the first Dialogue that has opened its doors to the public with an all-day open session on the theme "European Values and Innovation".

More than 350 people from all over Europe attended the Keynote Addresses on this theme from Professor Constance Chevallier Govers, University Grenoble Alpes and Stephane Hubac, ST Microelectronics, a scientific researcher specialising in manufacturing.

March 10 morning was dedicated to SURE (Students in Unite! for Representation and Power) : the 1st student forum organized by the students of Unite!
 

The next dialogue will take place on November 29, 30 and December 1, 2021 in Barcelona, Spain, if the hosting conditions related to the sanitary situation are met. A 100% online version will otherwise be offered by the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya.
 

The European Commission has launched over 40 projects to stimulate the creation of virtual and physical European universities. Unite! was one of the first 17 projects to be awarded this status.
