Multidisciplinary partnerships
Energy research at Grenoble INP draws on its strengths in multidisciplinary institutional and industrial partnerships. The institute's strengths and skills are pooled in areas such as electrical engineering, fluid mechanics, electrochemistry and nuclear engineering, and shared with institutional partners (Joseph Fourier University, the CNRS - French national research center and Grenoble CEA - atomic energy commission), as well as its industrial partners (Schneider Electric, EdF, Air liquide, etc.)
Grenoble INP is involved in the Rhone-Alpes Region Energy cluster and the EnRRDIS renewable energy cluster, giving it a leading role in regional and national energy research.
