Math and IT for the Information Age
The Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Informatique et de Mathématiques Appliquées de Grenoble offers 3-year training courses for information and computing systems architects, who will go on to top level leadership and decision-making.

It has therefore invested heavily in:
- in-depth teaching on scientific and technical issues, particularly in mathematics;
- hands-on learning via major team projects;
- focusing on management and international issues.
Unrivaled reputation
The school's constant aim, right from its inception in 1960, has been to dovetail business requirements with in-depth academic teaching. In the process, it has gained the reputation as the best school in France in its field, on a national and international stage. Its students go on to high-flying careers and its laboratories have an excellent reputation.
Half of all engineering jobs are in IT and information, communication and computing systems (APEC statistics). They are employed in all industries, as information has to be processed everywhere, in food production and finance, aviation and hospitals. There are vast opportunities, ranging from research careers to highly specialized sales engineer positions.

International dimensions
Nearly 50 % of students take the opportunity to do a 3-month to 1 year - placement in a foreign university or company. 40 % of ENSIMAG students come from abroad.
