School of high-tech electronic systems
The Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Electronique et de Radioélectricité de Grenoble offers 3-year courses to train up high level executives and experts in state of the art technology and electronic systems. From September 2006 onwards, it will be based on the Minatec site, Europe's leading innovation cluster in the field of micro and nanotechnologies, where teaching, industry and research works together on the same site. At ENSERG, you will have an outstanding opportunity to learn about evolving submicron technologies and "smart objects".
Teaching focus
Grenoble IT - ENSERG provides in-depth teaching on the latest techniques in electronics: microelectronics, optoelectronics, telecommunications, information processing and multimedia.
Research and business promotion
ENSERG's courses draw on the resources of five research laboratories and close cooperation with industry, guaranteeing that engineering students will be well trained for the world of work. 10 % of ENSERG graduates go into research.
International relations
More than 40 % of students take the opportunity to do a 3-month to 1-year placement in foreign universities and companies. At the end of the 1st year, ENSERG engineers can apply for the Nanotech Masters set up by Grenoble IT, Politecnico di Torino and the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. This program offers an engineer degree in micro and nanotechnologies for integrated systems jointly accredited by the 3 universities.
ENSERG - in the careers fast lane
ENSERG engineers rapidly progress into management or R&D positions in electronics and IT. Graduates mainly find jobs with French and international automotive, aeronautics, naval and railway constructors and in the IT industry and services.
