Imminent opening of Grenoble INP 2018 Summer Schools

Two scientific themes

From June 11 to July 13, we will welcome to Grenoble INP students from Hong Kong, the United States, Egypt, Mexico, Russia, Australia and Saudi Arabia. They will participate to a five-week summer program dedicated to Nanotechnology or Smart Energy.

Like every year, the courses of the Nanotechnology summer school will take place at Minatec, major European campus for innovation in the field of micro and nanotechnologies, and will be taught by teacher-researchers from Grenoble INP – Phelma, graduate school of engineering in Physics, Electronics and Materials Sciences, as well as invited professors.

For its first edition, the Smart Energy summer school will welcome its students at Grenoble INP – Ense3, graduate school of engineering in Energy, Water & Environmental Sciences, and more precisely in the GreEn-Er building, worldwide innovation center in the field of energy and renewable resources.

Both programs will be completed by courses in human sciences: Introduction to French language and culture with the CUEF (University Center for French Studies), courses in engineering ethics, European geopolitics and intercultural communication.

An opportunity for students

These summer programmes are a great opportunity for participants to discover France and especially Grenoble, to connect with students coming from all over the world and to deepen their technical knowledge in an exceptional scientific and technological environment.

They are also a chance for students to discover French culture thanks to many activities organized by the Grenoble INP International Relations Office and the International Student Board: Integration weekend, excursions in surrounding cities, visits of major scientific facilities, discovery of sites of cultural interest,  local products tasting…

We look forward to welcoming students and to share this experience with them!
