“By joining our program you will gain scientific and engineering knowledge required to implement projects for the sustainable use of water, learning about the design and modeling of hydraulic structures and the modeling of flows in rivers and networks.”
Gael Combe, Program Director
Most of the courses will be taught at Grenoble INP - Ense3 the school of Energy, Water and Environment. Located within the outstanding scientific environment of Grenoble, the lush campus provides perfect working conditions for motivated career oriented students. The teaching method is a gradual approach towards autonomy and knowledge appropriation: traditional lectures, tutorials, practical research training at highly technological platforms, use of software packages, multidisciplinary practical projects. Innovation and entrepreneurship are highly encouraged and developed. A student coach will be assigned to each student to guide them throughout the program.
Each student will be required to complete an internship either at an industrial firm or in a research laboratory. This may be undertaken in France or abroad. This is an opportunity to consolidate and discover working methods and to learn how to manage real projects. A written dissertation will be required at the end of the training period to be defended in front of a jury.
Possible research laboratories:
3 SR, LEGI, LTHE, ...
EDF, Gaz de France, SUEZ, Veolia, ...
