Program Description

Signal and Image Processing for
Geoscience and Remote Sensing
June 7 - July 2, 2010

Number of students: max 25

Fees and other costs: 3,000 included
  • Participation in all courses
  • Participation in excursions and trips around Grenoble
  • Trolley/bus lines
  • Housing in a Student's renovated Residence
  • Health insurance during your stay

Students will be responsible for their own meals, personal transportation and personal expenses and flight to and from France.


Learning outcomes:
  • Familiarizing people with digital signal and image processing,
  • Through laboratories - clarifying the practical application of theoretical concept,
  • Learning how to apply in practice the general signal and image processing concepts.
  • A special focus is given to the applications in geoscience and remote sensing

Detailed prerequisites:
Notions on mathematical analysis, algebra and physics

Structure:
52 hours = 26 hours Signal (18 hrs lectures + 8 hrs labs)+ 26 hours Image (18 hrs lectures + 8 hrs labs)
