How to fill out the
2010 Summer Program
Registration Form?
Fees and costs for 2010 Summer Program: € 3,000 including :
- A single room in a students' renovated residence hall
- medical insurance (fill out the declaration of good health enclosed)
- housing insurance + civil liability
- Trolley/bus line tickets
- Local activities
- Campus fees...
Students will have to support their travelling costs, meals and all other expenses. In case of cancellation, Grenoble INP will keep 20% of the amount. No reimbursing will be possible once in Grenoble. How to reach GrenobleThe best way to reach Grenoble is to land at Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport; there are airport connections from any European cities (Paris, London, Amsterdam, Frankfort, Milan, Geneva, etc.).
- Once in Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport, there are many daily shuttles to Grenoble* called Satobus. Contact the airport information desk or call Satobus at + 33 (0)4 72 68 72 17
- One way ticket is approximately €20 (Lyon airport => Grenoble bus Station) and €30 round trip (fare in 2009). Make sure to have cash euros for the Shuttle ticket. Tickets to buy at the Lyon airport and at the Grenoble bus station.
- Grenoble Bus (Gare routière) and railway stations (SNCF) are located at the same place in Grenoble; a 5 min. walk to Grenoble Institute of Technology.
Length of the stayThe program will begin on Monday, June 7th at 9:45 am with the orientation meeting and will end on Friday, July 2nd
Single rooms will be booked for students at the residence hall from Saturday, June 5th until Sunday, July 4th 2010 included.
For your information: The residence hall allows students to stay until Monday, July 5th 2010 (noon).
Arrivals: Students have to check in at the residence hall either on Saturday, June 5th or on Sunday, June 6th 2010.
Students will have to manage their own transportation to the residence hall.
An admission packet with practical information regarding the residence hall: how to go there, trolley lines, etc. will be sent to students who will participate in our program. The documents will be posted directly to the international office of the home university.
A Grenoble INP backpack with other useful information will be dropped off in the students' rooms before their arrivals.
InsuranceGrenoble INP will contract medical, housing and civil liability insurance policies for students. In order to do so, students must fill out and enclose the form declaration of good health with their registration form. The insurance policies will be efficient for the period of the summer program.
PaymentIn order to confirm the registration for the summer program, we need to receive:
the payment and all the documents requested in the registration form
before or by
