Grenoble INP supports 9 laboratories
around the world
Grenoble INP has built major partnerships with laboratories in Vietnam, Japan, China, and Mexico. These partnerships take the form of mixed international units (UMI) or international associate laboratories (LIA). Below is a full list of Grenoble INP's international laboratories. WebICCMSThe first International Centre for materials science modeling (ICCM) has been launched in Hanoi, Vietnam, in 2010. This is a partnership between the HPI and INP Grenoble. The creation of this international laboratory is the consequence of a strong partnership between two universities, and gives both a strong international visibility in materials science.
LAFMIALAboratoire Franco-Mexicain en Informatique is specialised in building prototype software. It is backed by two coordinating centres - one in Grenoble (Fédération IMAG-Institut d'Informatique et de Mathématiques Appliquées de Grenoble) and one in Jalapa, the capital of Veracruz (Laboratorio Nacional de Informatica Aplicada) - as well as a network of laboratories in both France and Mexico.

LITAP (Laboratoire International de Technologies et Applications des Plasmas) is a partnership among institutions in France (CNRS, UJF, and Grenoble INP) and Quebec (INRS-EMT and the University of Montreal). It combines their strengths and skills so as to better face increasing global competition for new plasma technology applications.
