French hospitality

Members of the "Bureau International Etudiant (BIE)" greet foreign students as soon as they arrive in Grenoble, and then help them with all the administrative tasks needed to settle into the city. The International Student Board also organises numerous events throughout the year, such as outings to adventure courses, tours of chocolate-making shops, weekends in the Ardèche, ski weekends, New Year's Eve parties, sponsorship dinners, and plenty of other fun activities.
For example, the BIE helps arrange the following three action-packed weeks for foreign students:

• Two integration weeks with intensive French courses in August and January, for students wishing to improve their French;

• An International Week
  

• International Fair where foreign students present their home universities.

The International Student Board has around 20 members who work closely with the International Relations Department to make foreign students' time in Grenoble as enjoyable as possible.
