Partners universities

Grenoble Institute of Technology has concluded more than 200 Erasmus agreements and 230 bilateral MoU with partner universities all over the world.

Information on Erasmus agreements can be obtained contacton the international office of each of the 6 engineering schools of Grenoble Intstitute of Technology.

Grenoble Institute of Technology is the creation partner of the Franco-Chinese Institute of Nuclear Energy and Technologies (IFCEN) implemented on the Sun Yat-Sen campus. This institute educates 100 young engineers "à la française" each year.

International laboratories

Grenoble Institute of Technology is leading 10 international laboratories in the following fields:
- Physics and Materials
- Nano materials and Nano electronics
- Information technology, Computer science, Automatic control
- Electrical engineering

These laboratories are located in six different countries : China, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Vietnam and Brazil.

International Networks

CLUSTER (Consortium Linking Universities of Science and Technology for Education and Research) is a consortium of 12 elite European Universities in Science and Engineering (and architecture) with associate members from around the world. In 2010, CLUSTER celebrated the twentieth anniversary, a long path where the role of Engineering Education has been questioned and best practices and policies for running our institutions to breed talent have been defined. CLUSTER represents a Multi-location European University of Science and Technology with about 3.000 professors, 11.000 academic staff, 14.000 PhD students , with a total of more than 140,000 students.

  • RESCIF (French speaking universities)

It is a network of outstanding universities in science and technology between six French universities and 7 French speaking universities of emerging countries. RESCIF works on several research projects on climate change,water and environnement, food, energy and sustainable development.
