Discover our new summer school in Smart Energies!

Grenoble INP Institute of engineering Univ. Grenoble Alpes launches this year a new summer school in the field of Smart Energies. This 5-week program will be held simultaneously with our already existing summer school in Micro & Nanotechnologies.

This new program was created in light of issues related to energy management and sustainable development, which nowadays induce major societal, scientific and industrial challenges. Given this context, energy transition, in particular efficient production of renewable electricity and heat, as well as its storage and optimized distribution, are themes of interest in engineers’ education.

Courses of this new summer school will be entirely taught in English, and will take place in Grenoble INP – Ense3, Graduate School of engineering Energy, Water and Environmental sciences, and more precisely in GreEn-Er, a world-class innovation center in energy and renewable resources. They will be given by teacher-researchers from laboratories jointly led by Grenoble INP.

In addition to dedicated scientific and technical courses, smart energies’ program students will participate in classes on inter-culturality, engineering ethics, and a “Survival French” course at the CUEF, University Center for the study of French language, along with students from the Micro & Nanotechnology program.

To allow participants to really experience French culture, Grenoble INP International Relations Department and the International Student Board will organize social, cultural and touristic activities for students from both Summer Schools.
