The Grenoble INP Partner Foundation was created in July 2010. It is composed of six founding members who contribute EUR 3.5 million for 5 years: Schneider Electric, UDIMEC, Grenoble INP, EDF, STMicroelectronics, Grenoble INP Alumni.
The Partner Foundation was created with the goal of strengthening the unique training, research and innovation model that is so much a part of the Grenoble INP structure. It seeks to support the development strategy of a currently autonomous major institution and to strengthen its position amongst the best universities of technology in the world.
Presently, the Foundation has launched a fund raising campaign to collect EUR 4.5 million over 3 years. As part of this campaign, the Foundation is offering the new partners joining its ranks as founder, Major Donator, Donator or Sponsor, the opportunity to build durable and concrete projects and to create a new method of cooperation between engineering schools, laboratories and companies.
