With an average of 170 doctorates awarded per year, Grenoble Institute of Technology is the second largest doctoral school in France.
 

Grenoble Institute of Technology's post-graduate facilities comprise 6 doctoral schools, some of which are jointly accredited alongside other Grenoble universities (Joseph Fourier University - Grenoble1, Pierre Mendès-France University - Grenoble2).


Admission to doctorate studies

You must be qualified to research Masters 2 (M2) level and have funding (French ministry for higher education research grants, regional grants, CIFRE funding, or other funding), and be enrolled in one of the 8 doctoral schools.
