Courses at Grenoble Institute of Technology

Published: July 12, 2011

Our dual objective for Grenoble Institute of Technology graduates is employability and adaptability. The engineering program has been developed to provide wide-ranging opportunities and high level technical teaching. The institute promotes its international partnerships and close working relationships with industry (internships, business projects, training in enterprise skills, etc.) in addition to conventional engineering studies.

Varied teaching
Christian Schaeffer, vice-président du CEVUAs well as high level science and engineering teaching, other opportunities are available in sports (40 sports on offer), foreign languages (17 languages available), business studies and enterprise skills, philosophy and the history of sciences, etc.
Students with special sports or artistic skills can apply to do a specially adapted program.

International opportunities - a key dimension
Grenoble Institute of Technology has a long tradition of working with international partners and approximately 20 % of our students come from abroad. Half of our students spend at least three months abroad, as part of a double degree agreement or a jointly-accredited degree or as an exchange trip. Travel grants are available to students who wish to study abroad.

High level research - High level teaching
Grenoble has attracted large number of scientists, thanks to the Rhone-Alpes region's dynamic research and industry. This internationally renowned research is a guarantee of the quality of Grenoble INP's teaching and means that Grenoble has become a destination of choice for engineers, research masters and doctorate students wishing to study in Europe.
