Grenoble INP encourages business creation and supports innovative start-ups by means of its research promotion and training program, as well as through its subsidiary INPG ENTREPRISE SA.
Entrepreneurs and innovators
INPG Entreprise SA offers a range of consultancy and services for innovative companies, including administrative and accounting services or support, a variety of consultancy services (including legal and financial advice), fund raising support, contact with research laboratories and leading scientists and access to technology platforms.
Prior to start-up INPG ENTREPRISE SA can provide consultancy and networking support to entrepreneurs, and can help draw up an application for inclusion in a business "incubator", such as the state-funded Grenoble incubator GRAIN, which hosts research-driven business initiatives.
Research staff
The 1999 Inovation Act provides a legal structure in France by which researchers or teaching fellows can develop innovative business start-ups based their research. These entrepreneurs can get advice from the "Guichet Unique Valorisation" (one-stop business promotion shop) before applying to the Grenoble state-run incubator (Grenoble Alpes Incubation).
