GRAVIT, first ISO 9001-certified shared development programme

On 28 July 2010, GRAVIT was certified ISO 9001: 2008 by AFNOR for its work.
GRAVIT’s recent ISO 9001 certification should quickly be emulated by other shared support initiatives. As a matter of fact, GRAVIT is the first of 14 such structures in France to gain certification for the Quality approach applied to its activities: pooling and acceleration of technology transfer, detection and maturing of industrial proofs of concept, coordination on intellectual property and promotion and marketing of innovative projects.

Since its creation in 2005, GRAVIT has developed a methodology as well as tools and expertise in the field of technological transfer with its founding partners, the Grenoble universities and research centres. “From the outset, we focused on describing our processes and producing standardised documents, stated Carole Silvy, operational manager at GRAVIT. In 2009, thanks to the recruiting of Christophe Poyet who had gained prior experience in quality management in an SME, we logically undertook an ISO certification process.”

This certification is the culmination of the efforts of an entire team and guarantees to the applicants seeking our services, that their file will be processed according to objective criteria and that it will benefit from high quality professional support.
