Paul Jacquet was elected president in 2002 and has formed a management team to head up and implement his policies.
The three boards
 
In accordance with the regulations, Grenoble Institute of Technology has three boards which manage and set its educational and scientific policies and allocate the financial and human resources required to implement these policies. Each board has a specific role laid out in the French education code and in Grenoble Institute of Technology's statutes.
