Grenoble Institute of Technology - 10 Masters programs on offer
Grenoble Institute of Technology plays a leading role Grenoble's research, and has links with 38 specialized engineering sciences laboratories. The institute is well known for its expertise in microelectronics, telecommunications, industrial engineering, nuclear engineering or signal processing. Grenoble INP's masters and doctoral schools offer 10 masters programs which are taken in conjunction with Grenoble's other universities (Joseph Fourier University/Grenoble1, Pierre Mendès-France University-Grenoble 2)
They are each attached to one of the
8 doctoral schools.
Curriculum
A masters is a 2-year (4 semesters) course:
- Masters 1 (M1) (2 semesters)
- Master 2 (professional M2) (4 semesters). The professional masters aims to train students for business management.
- Master 2 (research M2) (4 semesters). The research masters aims to train students to go onto doctoral research.
Selection procedure
The admission criterion for Masters 1 is a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification. The admission criterion for Masters 2 is a Masters 1 or equivalent qualification. Your previous studies must be relevant to the masters course you wish to take.
Engineering students who want to go onto doctoral research can take a research Masters 2 during the last year of engineering school.
A masters can also be taken over one or two years as part of a continuing professional development program.
